Hill Country Barbecue Market Concerts 2024

We stopped by Hill Country to pick up brisket and short ribs to take home to watch the Super Bowl. They have long been a favorite for juicy brisket, meaty short ribs, and tasty sausage. Could have done without the condescending attitude from what appeared to be a supervisor behind the counter. Everyone else was lovely. The burnt ends didn’t seem like real burnt ends and more like leftovers that were cubed up for sale. Regardless, we won’t be deterred and will always return for my husband’s brisket fix.

This is one of my regular spots and I always get dynamite food with fast, courteous service at a very reasonable price for NYC. Our server tonight, Rick, was super helpful allowing us to switch tables from a high to low top, and provided us with a very enjoyable evening meal, as usual. Highly recommend this place to any of my friends looking for a dinner spot in the area. Save room for dessert!

Ribs were rather dry. The colesaw is incredibly delicious and could not get enough. Loved the corn bread that came with it, too. I had the two meats whoch was lovely and would recommend

Great atmosphere and good BBQ! We came on a Friday night and the restaurant was nearly full. We both ordered the two meat platter (ribs and brisket and pulled pork and brisket), which came with two sides and cornbread. Tip: Make a reservation if you arrive after 7 PM.

We were just walking around downtown looking for something to eat and came across this gem! It was four of so we got the platter that had brisket, ribs, chicken, 2 sausages and 3 large sides (baked beans, potato salad and Mac and cheese) all the bbq was tasty and seasoned well. What makes this place better than some of the rest is the sides. Was the sides spectacular no but for a bbq place they all were very decent, some places spend all their effort on the bbq but the sides be lacking, not here. I would definitely go back.
