I wanted to like this place more, for the simple fact that they’re providing space for artists to perform in an intimate setting. It’s important to have these spaces for artists to do shows to 50-200 people. But this place could use some serious reshaping. First off, $8 Miller high life in a plastic cup is disrespectful. The bottom bar shelves are so understocked you can see the dust around where the bottles used to be. Coffee mugs stacked so haphazardly it’s an eyesore. Harsh and overly bright lighting in bar area. No beer/shot combos, no prices listed on the chalkboard menu, no other menu source with prices included. I ordered a different beer after and the bartender didn’t even know which tap it was under (there’s only 6 taps). Staff seems undertrained but doing their best, I want to reiterate this is not a knock at them. It’s a management and ownership issue. It’s really a shame because most people would kill to have a place with this kind of potential. To me, the vibe feels like “we’re doing you a favor by opening this place up to smaller musicians, so put up with our lack of attention to detail, or intention when it comes to running this place.” If you wanna be a s-hole hole in the wall bar, there’s ways to do it and have pride in ownership, which I just am not sure I see here. It feels like it hasn’t figured out its identity, and the experience definitely suffers directly from the lack of intention. I want this place to win because that’s a win for musicians and fans, but I don’t know if I see that being a reality with the way it’s currently being run. If management is open to hearing more constructive criticism, contact me direct because there is potential here for something great here.

The bar is so so, the stage is also so so, but the volume of concert/sound is so high that you can hear only distortion of music. And you know what? They sell earplugs on entrance, like they know about the problem. No any fun from music or place after all.

Management is weird and entitled about taking pictures in the space and need to prove that you purchased something or hold an empty cup to be in the area downstairs. Bartenders are great it’s just the owner/manager.

not a knitting factory, but a cool bar area with a nice little stage in the back. i faced a very adamant "bouncer" who would question every beverage he saw me and my underage friends hold: "WHAT IS IN YOUR CUP?!" so if you're trying to sneak in anything, be smart 🧠 otherwise, kewl spot ^_________^

With each iteration the knitting factory has gotten worse and worse. Worst sound man on earth- Gideon. This guy is the meanest person you will ever meet. Electrical grounding is not safe- artists were repeatedly shocked by microphones and cables. Sound is mediocre, no green room for artists, payment is meager and difficult to obtain, booking is difficult, space is very small compared to former location- about less than half the size. This is somehow worse than Arlene’s
