Prudential Center Reviews

Been to the Pru Center quite a few times now and I’m starting to finally warm up to the place. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are plenty of parking options available if you’re driving and it is a short walk from the train station. My favorite place to park is the lot at 81 Edison street. It is right by the Citizen entrance gate and after the show it is easy to get out to Route 21. Inside there are ok food options—not great. Tons of drink options. They are cashless, which speeds things up and their grab and go stations are a really good idea for getting bottles of water or snacks quickly. As far as the seating goes, I will tell you to spend the extra money and get the best seats you can afford—especially for concerts. The bad seats are really bad. The sound is terrible and obviously the view is not great. Seats in the lower tier closest to the bottom are spacious and have cushioned seats. I highly recommend those. The Pru Center is a good place to see a show if you get good seats.

I've only been here once and had the good fortune of sitting in the first row to see a Bryan Adams concert. Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics opened the show and did a great job. So not a lot of experience with the Prudential Center and also my first time at such a large venue. I must say for the number of people at that concert it was incredibly well run and efficient. The venue got a lot of people in and out surprisingly quickly. All the employees were very nice. Security was present and nicely corrected anyone who stepped out of line (unlike some arenas I have been to). There's the typical concert food and drink, it costs a lot just like every other place I've been to. But what the heck, it was a great time and Bryan Adams sounds just as good as he did back in the 90's. I had a fantastic time!

Took my daughter to see Kane Brown perform here in March and it was phenomenal. Parking was easy to get and close by, the lighting effects and pyrotechnics were unbelievable, and overall it was the venue for a concert like this.

This was my 2nd time here I don't like the seating they have especially in the upper levels sections 100s and 200s where the steps feel short and you can fall and get hurt. The DJ Cassidy Pass the Mic was too short but I still enjoyed myself.

The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, offers an unparalleled experience for hockey fans, and the Prudential Lounge elevates the game day experience to new heights. As I watched the New Jersey Devils hockey game, I couldn't help but appreciate the convenience and indulgence that the lounge provided. The dessert options at the Prudential Lounge were simply divine. From decadent chocolate cakes to perfectly crafted cheesecakes, there was something to satisfy every sweet tooth. The desserts were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, adding an extra touch of elegance to the overall experience. In addition to the tempting desserts, the lounge also offered a variety of snack-style foods that were perfect for munching on during the game. From crispy chicken tenders to loaded nachos, the menu catered to both savory and indulgent cravings, ensuring that there was something for everyone. For those looking for something more substantial, the lounge also featured a selection of main dishes, including mouthwatering salmon and other gourmet options. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, showcasing the culinary expertise of the Prudential Center's kitchen staff. One aspect that truly stood out during my visit was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service, making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was enjoyable, whether it was recommending menu items or assisting with any requests. The convenience of the Prudential Lounge cannot be overstated. Situated near the glass, our seats provided an excellent view of the game while still allowing us easy access to the lounge's amenities. Whether I wanted to grab a quick snack between periods or indulge in a leisurely meal, everything was just a few steps up the stairs, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the excitement of the game without any hassle. Overall, my experience at the Prudential Center and the Prudential Lounge was nothing short of exceptional. From the delectable desserts to the friendly staff and convenient location, it was the perfect complement to an unforgettable hockey game.
