Waterside District Concerts 2024

So Beautiful. And the little nooks and streets in Norfold VA where there are cobblestone streets and old school Freemason remnants really reminded me of Boston. Home. Plus the FREEMASON ABBEY IS EXQUISITE. Such a cool vibe.

For some reason I didn't take a good photo of my huge burger from Guy Fieri's Smokehouse. The food was good, the service was great. They were patient, helpful and very friendly. There was Skeeball, which is my fave game. Gotta go back on a sunny day but beautiful view no matter the weather. Great place to go anytime for any reason.

I don't get the hype. Several businesses weren't open. Dark and dingy. We ended up getting drinks at the circular bar in the center. Decided not to sit in set of chairs based on 1 looking different. Good decision. As we were drinking our beer there was a loud crash. The person that sat in that chair went crashing to the ground. The chair broke. I guess I would describe it as run down after this. Server was nice.

Had an amazing time at the 90s bar crawl at Waterside! So many different restaurants and bars squeezed into this place, but despite that, it’s not overly crowded and each business is clearly individual. Definitely one of the best spots in Norfolk to eat, drink, and dance!

Place looks quite promising from the outside but inside is a ghost town with zero atmosphere. I expected restaurants but found the usual fast food counters. After ordering a ‘hand held’ I visited the ‘bathroom’ to wash my hands. There was no soap or hand wash and it didn’t look like there ever had been. When I reported this to one of the bar staff they could not have been less interested. Clearly hygiene is not important here. Absolutely disgusting. I will not be returning.
