Great updates to the space, fabulous sound system, positive upbeat environment, clean bathrooms, and great acts lined up for the coming year ….just opened Thursday before New Years 2023. I went 2 days later to check it out and saw Paul Oakenfold who put on a stellar show, and even had a photo op with him after! Security was respectful/helpful and also efficient in handling anything that came up. At the front of the stage during the show a few water bottles were handed out — super grateful for after dancing but not wanting to leave a prime spot. Very excited to see a promising and great year ahead for this venue!

Having attended a few shows at Marquis Park City, I can confidently say this place has transformed the live music scene in this town. The location is incredible right in the heart of Main Street. The sound and light system must be on of the best in Utah, it makes the performances feel both intimate and grand. Seeing arena acts like Odesza in a 1,200 person room was really special...it strikes a balance between an intimate gig and a large-scale concert. The lineup is amazing and diverse (Black Keys, Leon Bridges, Odesza, Kaskade, Charley Crockett...I mean...can't get much better). I will be coming to this place every time I'm in town!

The Marquis is always a seamless, classy experience. Plenty of bars, friendly staff, good bathrooms and a great sound system. Plenty of room to dance. I'll see my favorite artists here over and over again.

Not totally sure why I paid $100+ extra dollars for a “VIP” balcony ticket to be 3 times further from the stage. As one can see in the picture attached, there is a lower balcony rim but that is a separate pay $$$$ per table. The worst part though, my party arrived early and were 2nd in line but were led astray and were standing in the lower balcony rim for 15 min before an employee came to tell us we aren’t allowed in that section. By the time we went to the correct section the 20 lounge seats up front were taken and the rest of us had to just stand in the back looking over each other’s shoulders for a view. I saw people leave to just go down to the floor with general admission because it’s better down there.

This venue is clean, the service from bartenders was great, and the staff was super nice. But the sound quality was almost unbearable. I saw Dirty Heads, and sound kept cutting in and out, you couldn't hear the vocalists, or anything but the drums. Definitely not worth $250 for tickets, VIP sky deck was just a balcony, which every other venue in Utah has. No perks whatsoever of paying $150 more than GA.
