SOUTH Restaurant & Jazz Club Concerts 2024

A friend of mine and I got together to get food and drinks for her birthday. When I arrived, parking was terrible, but I lucked up and found something. When I walked in, I was greeted and lucked up again and found seats at the bar in a busy restaurant. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Noah was our bartender, and he was super nice. We started with drinks and I got the vesper martini and I enjoyed it. My friend had the strawberry margarita and she liked her drink as well. For food, she got the catfish and shrimp, which she enjoyed. I got the starter shrimp and grits, which was delicious! The bill wasn't bad and we had a great time.

Hi level excellence. There is nothing I enjoy more than going to a restaurant that does it better than most homes. From the wait staff of Derek and Abby to the managers checking on us. Everything thing was perfect! The chicken, the Mac & cheese, the cornbread all were very good. They went above and beyond to make sure that my guest and I were taken care of. I will be back!

South is a REAL jazz club with great acoustics. The food was plentiful and delicious! I had the best gumbo outside of New Orleans. The cornbread was melt in your mouth. The ambience was so soothing and relaxing. The service was attentive. I am a huge fan of South now and will be back again and again!!

SOUTH is one of my favorite restaurants in Philly! This was my first going for a show, though, and it did not disappoint! I went with my best friend and we had a ball! Glenn Bryan and Friends were WONDERFUL!!! I would love to see them again if given a chance, but seeing them at SOUTH was epic!!! ALL GLENN'S FRIENDS WERE AMAZING!!! 👐🏾🫶🏽👏🏾🙌🏽

Went to dinner for my Birthday and it was nothing but amazing. Our waiter William was very polite,funny, and had good customer service skills overall. I ordered the catfish which was delicious and tried a piece of my sister's chicken which was tasty. The ambiance was nice along with the decorations and the live jazz band which we could hear coming from the other room
