Though I do like the vintage feel and look, I do have to agree with a fellow reviewer that the seats need to be replaced. They're so flat and uncomfortable. However, the view to the stage was good, and the sound was great, along with the laser show. There's two bars that also offer food like pizza, wraps, and hummus at a reasonable price. There was plenty of staff that kept the lines moving. The bathrooms are upstairs and large enough that they keep the lines moving. All in all, it was a great evening with great music.

What a neat theater!! My siblings and I traveled to Portland from Washington, and we watched Nicotine Dolls at Aladdin Theater. We loved how cozy and intimate this concert was. The seats were comfy, although we were standing at the stage most of the evening. I hear this theater has a pretty risqué history! I’m very much looking forward to attending another show here.

The Aladdin is an excellent venue for sound, service, food and drinks, and altogether cheer. We went there for the G- love and special sauce show the other night. We also had the soundcheck/ meet and greet experience. First, the check- in was super easy and fast. We waited outside and were given wrist bands, and told what the process was going to be. Super-smoothe and seamless. Everyone was great who worked there, no problems at all. Everyone answered our questions thoughtfully and considerately. The show was awesome too, in addition to sound being great. Drinks were made very well and were reasonably priced. The pizza was not too bad, definitely edible! It was a very nice evening.
Parking is a bit of a situation, not easy to find parking, really. But, once you do and you enter the venue, it's nice. The main bar sells non alcoholic drinks, and then they have a bar to the left once you enter. The bar to the left sells alcoholic beverages. Bathrooms are easily accessible and the auditorium has stadium style seating. This is my 2nd time seeing a band play here, and it's nice to have the seating but also have the option to dance in front of the stage.

This venue, the Aladdin Theater, is always an awesome place to see a show. Unique, charming, intimate. They really do need to replace their seats though, "old and warn out" is being kind. I get keeping the historic original look and feel, but there are companies that can reproduce and retrofit "new" seats. Sitting 2 hours on broken springs deters from the overall enjoyment.
