Taylor Acorn show was great, although you guys really need to work on your audio in your main hall. The speakers and audio for instruments were so loud I could barely hear Taylor sing. The venue was nice and felt safe/secure. Smoking patio was a huge plus, especially with fire pit on a cold and rainy Portland day. Will be back!

Absolutely a great venue because all ages are welcome. Saw The Crawlers at Polaris Hall and it was a great time. Small venue with a nice stage. Benches line the walls in case you might like to sit on the sidelines. Friendly staff! Full bar available. Clean restrooms. Stairs must be ascended to access stage on the second floor. Maybe you should call if you are in a wheelchair to see if they have a special entrance. Many parental chaperones were present enjoying on the show while their kids were front stage center. So if your concerned about your youngsters first concert experience why not try the Polaris, it is fun, clean and safe. Check out their website for upcoming performances. See you again, Polaris Hall !!!

Anna Tivel put on a fine performance in this quaint listening room. Whilst she sang a bunch of beautiful bummer songs, I heard her once say something to the effect, that she doesn’t trust a happy song. I always am amazed when one has the ability to silence a buzzed adult crowd of a few hundred folks. Her playing was delicately complex with a humble, scorching vocal presence. It was exactly what I had hoped to witness while I only wished to be at least a foot taller as I posted up by the merch table. If you get there early, you may be able to acquire one of the eight or so high top tables running along either side of the main general admission standing area. Otherwise, it’s very possible to stand at the feet of the artist as the stage is only about two feet high. This venue provides a very upclose experience and if you speak up then you are part of the entertainment.

Right when I saw the neon sign I was hyped. The entrance is probably one of my favorite things about Polaris Hall. Not because the rest is bad trust me its not, but just because of the beautiful small brick entrance with a neon blue sign dimly lighting the entrance. Something about it really gets me goin'. On to the inside when you walk up some stairs you find a small room to the left with food and then a long narrow hall in front of you. The ceiling though being a good bit up giving this ballroom some space and making it feel less cramped. This is one of my favorite venues with a nice small stage so you really get up close with the performer. Definetly worth checking out some shows here.
