The Get Down Music Venue Concerts 2025

We had our wedding reception here. Everything was incredible. We worked directly with Blake who was a delight. We had a vision for what we wanted it to be. He took that, added his own ideas and made it even better (and way cooler). Everything ran extremely smooth. The entire staff was a delight. I can't recommend this place highly enough, not only for shows but if you want to have the coolest private events in town this is the only place to go.

Pretty great spot for music. There’s a pretty big room for the bar with tables and chairs. The actual concert area is a kind of rounded room with a stage on one end and this elevated rim that sits about 1/2-1’ higher than the main ground. The space reminded me of a small roller rink and makes for great intimate concerts. This spot is probably one of my top music venues in town because of the size and who passes through. Looking forward to coming to this spot again. Also they have a drinking fountain by the bathrooms which I found amazing haha.

The best thing about The Get Down is its sheer blandness, TSA level security measures ensuring errant burritos are not smuggled past its gates and the desire to capitalize on its bookings as much as possible for its owners own 💰. As a venue, though? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's not the biggest venue around, so I'm guessing shows sell out quickly here due to capacity limits. The bar was quick to make drinks but they got my tab wrong, and I didn't notice until checking my email receipt the next day. Bathrooms are co-ed, clean, and were restocked mid-show which was a nice surprise. Parking is a challenge. Security upon entering involved a bag check and wand pass.

My favorite new music venue in PDX! Fun, funky, sheik, glittery, artful and safe. Good vibes!
