The Showdown Concerts 2024-2025

I love showdown. It’s the perfect shape, size, atmosphere for a bar experience that looks the part, while actually being clean and comfortable. Great events and live music. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I was skeptical about the food, but after watching my dad eat it enough times I decided to try it, and it’s good. Quality chicken and sausages, they are yum. The potato salad and macaroni salad sides remind me of old juke joints. They’ve really given it that classic old school vibe. Location is very easy to get to. Street parking can be tight on busy nights, but I’ve always found a spot within the block.

Meet Portland's newest queer friendly country bar!! At 8pm on Monday is Square Dancing followed by Two Step Tuesday's and live music all weekend!! If you love country music I reckon I'll see you there!!

What a great music venue! I saw Ben Rice & the PDX Hustle here and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff! The door lady, the bar tender, the dude cleaning up, the sound guy! All awesome! The bathrooms are clean and the drinks are strong. I'll be back to hear more great music.

Great music lineup, very friendly bartender and generally one of my newest favorite venues for live music!

Great time tonight enjoying the band Terrapin flyer (a Grateful Dead tribute band) that is touring the US on an Americana Tour. No fan fare, just great ambiance, service and the bar food was tasty, healthy, and super affordable.
