Plumas Fairgrounds Reviews

Quincy, Ca Since we are right next to the fair grounds, we splurged and spent the $7 for a week pass. Really, only $7! This gave us the freedom to wander over at our leisure to see the exhibits, and events all week long. I have to admit, we have experienced a sense of community at the Quincy Plumas Sierra County Fair. The locals were proud to participate and showcase their livestock, sewing, gardening, cooking, canning, and many other projects they’ve been working on. We asked them many questions around raising 4-H animals to driving modified stock cars and they proudly told us everything we wanted to know. The locals obviously love the fair. They come together to visit and celebrate their love of agriculture, community, and their youth! We experienced how the small town county fair helped to bring this community together. We even attended a single church service at the fair, jointly put on by 8 different churches. It touched me when they stopped to pray together for a local family who had just received difficult news. The family was obviously well known by all and this community was moved. I now see the value in having and participating in events like this.

Great 4 day High Sierra Music festival. I would have never driven to Quincy California if not for it. Love the activities and scenery of the surrounding mountains. Perfect place for a family get-together.

Had a great time taking my little one to the closing day of Joshua fest. We slid down the water slide about 50 times. Our fairgrounds host many fun venue's. Come visit us next year.

Very nice county fairgrounds. Not too big, not too small. Rides are in a grassy filed, which can get hot but not too dusty. Great fair to go to with kids.
