We visited the Reno Events center yesterday for Disney on Ice. The positive is that most seats had a pretty good view of the performance. The temperature inside was not too hot or too cold. The main reason for my low review was the water policy. I was told that I couldn't even bring an empty water bottle to full up. At least airport security let's people bring in an empty one. Reno Aces allows a sealed purchased bottle of water. Reno Events Center policy forces people to have lots of plastic waste for an event and pay money for water. There was at least one drinking fountain near the restroom, but it's hard to leave your seats during a show to get enough water. I would have also appreciated to bring at least an energy bar per person. The concession line was very long and I didn't see anything vegetarian beyond fries. My kiddo and I were quite hungry by the end. I would have bought him a pretzel at intermissions, but we would have missed part of the show due to the long line. I think access to water should be available for all shows, but denying water and snacks to a show geared for young children seemed particularly wrong. I would like to bring my kiddo to Sesame Street live, but will skip that now that I know the Events' Centers policies.

I was there for college wrestling. It was a great reminder of when my boys were in the sport. And I saw some great matches. I suppose I should review The Event Center itself though. For wrestling event with a small audience it was a great venue. I don't know about the acoustics so I can't judge that if I was to guess I'd say don't go to a concert here but a sporting event oh yeah definitely.

We Saw Disney on Ice Frozen/Encanto. Great performance. Venue you can see everything if you do no sit on the sides closest to the stage entrances. Popcorn was $18. Very expensive. Everything in the booths were expensive, over $14 for everything. For food, I would suggest to buy from the food stand instead. Parking: parked at El dorado structure for free, very easy walk.

I'd give this place a zero if it was an option. This place is the worst venue you can imagine, because there is no organization whatsoever... They just sell as many tickets as they can -- not giving one care about what's to happen inside -- and there's no where to sit or stand. There's no floor help. No house coordinators. No representation. It's a free-for-all. ADA spaces are used by regular folks because there's literally no where to go. It's a mob of people at their worst. And trying to enjoy yourself is nearly impossible as you dodge and duck and try to find a place to sit or stand. My advice? Encourage your organization to find a different venue! Good luck; you're going to need it.

Here for a two day high school wrestling tournament. Amazing venue. Ample space for 15 full size wrestling mats on the ground. Including scoring tables and extra space to move around. There are theater style bucket seats for great viewing of the event. Concession stands as in most areas.overall a fantastic choice to hold a very large tournament.
