The performance by Trixie and Katya was fabulous but the winning star at this theater was the staff. The usher's the security everyone who worked at this theater was outstanding in customer service. They were friendly helpful professional and courteous honestly there's not enough words to say how wonderful the staff was at this theater. The theatre itself is absolutely gorgeous inside and it was cool that some of the staff knew the history of it so we were able to actually get information about the venue as well as enjoy the view. I had never been to this venue before and from now on if there is something I want to see at this venue I absolutely will go because the staff was amazing I actually want to see them again as much as any performance I go to see.

This is just a magnificent and beautiful theater. I've been here a number of times to see all kinds of shows. The most recent visit we came and saw David spade. The sound quality is really good. Staff is very friendly and gets you to your seats. The balcony is pretty cool as well. Looking up at the top, they have Roman sculptures and busts throughout. The only issue you may run into coming here is finding parking in Downtown richmond. There are a couple of parking garages that are that expensive, but if you drive around a little bit, sometimes you can find a better alternative. They do have little snack bars where you can get alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, candy, and a few other items.

What a fabulous venue! Beautiful, elegant, spacious, great acoustics. We had a blast here watching the Nutcracker, Dracula, listening to Diana Krall and the Richmond Symphony ... each time we had a great experience. Highly recommend!

I went here last weekend to revisit an annual pilgrimage from my youth: The Nutcracker. This has to be the finest theater venue in Richmond. It's more intimate than the Mosque or the National, and the acoustics are superior. You'll love the Near Eastern revivalist architecture style. The actual production of the ballet was superb, especially the set designs. I have been going here since the 1960s and first saw the film 2001 A Space Odyssey here when it was released in the early '70s. That was back when it was called the Loews Theater.

Such another great show here. This time, Buddy Guy at age 87. And he did not disappoint!
