Great venue for music. Do the VIP if you can. You won't be disappointed

I was so impressed that every Kodak theater employee went BEYOND the job requirements when dealing with me and my special needs son. From security to the ushers, everyone could identify that he has sensory issues and they each had multiple options for us to try instead of us leaving early. We made it through the show. As a parent I cannot thank you enough for how accommodating everyone was.

Accompanied my 11yo with his class to the Challenger Learning Center. The Commanders kept everyone engaged by giving each kid their own role. The children were able to perform their "job" and learn from that specific role. The pace was great, and the kids had a blast!

It's hard to give this place a good review. When I first arrived at the address listed, I found myself down a driveway at a secure gate that led to a factory and no way to turn around and had to backup into traffic. I had to call the location and listen to their address directions. Turns out there was parking around the block in an adjacent lot. And there was a clear entrance. The theater itself was ok. It was clean, the staff was friendly enough and helpful. But the kodak center sharing the block with a kodak factory made for an interesting time.

Kodak center is frequently used by dance competitions in the Rochester area. Kodak does not allow water, coffee, or food to be brought in by anybody except a dancer. While this may make sense for local theater and shows, it is particularly egregious for families coming to the venue for competitive sport. Kodak is likely trying to protect their high-markup snack-bar sales with this policy (given that they allow food and drink in the main theater). Too bad their snack bar is devoid of reasonably priced, or good food. This makes Kodak a completely untenable experience for a dance competition weekend where we spend 3x12 hour days. Maybe it’d be better if the facility was easily accessible, but it requires crossing an extremely dangerous 6-lane road. Kodak center is a terrible facility for a weekend long sporting event. I hope that dance competitions start looking elsewhere. Kodak’s policies and miserable staff detract from the experience for everyone. If I travelled from out of town to this location, I’d be even angrier.
