Golden 1 Center Concerts 2024-2025

Saw Pearl Jam on a Monday night. The place was packed, the band was on fire. The venue was large and the sound was decent. The best part was how they curb your drinking by charging $14 a beer!

When Golden 1 Center replaced Arco Arena (Sleep Train Arena) in 2016. We're so excited to have a new home for the Sacramento Kings finally. I remember the first time in here at the upper level seats was very scary! It looks straight down. It seems I'll fall down anytime! I don't feel that anymore after a few times in there. I can even jump up and down now! Lol I am there mainly for the Sacramento Kings home game, plus a few times for concerts or other functions. The Golden 1 Center is perfect for all the major events. The next best thing at Golden 1 Center is all the restaurants with different styles of food in there. We have a lot of choices. Of course, they’re expensive! Parking garages and streets are available for $15 to $25 per car on the event day. It's not cheap, but available most of the time. My favorite parking garage is the Old Sacramento parking under the I-5 freeway parking garage. It is $15 per car. It is only a short walk to the Golden 1 Center and mostly with covered walkways.

Great venue! Seats don’t offer a bunch of leg room, but the arena makes up for it with the great sound and lights. Nice food and drink options, all fairly pricey but that’s standard for sports events these days. Section 110 for PBR was a blast. Long lines for security and drinks but they move quickly. I have now been to a concert, basketball game, and Disney on ice. All of which feel close on the lower level. I have never sat in the 200s section the stairs seem steep. The arena has a few different local food options and the staples like pizza hot dogs popcorn. Nachos aren't great but I'm willing to try them again. Lot of parking garage near by.

In the grand scheme of venues, I didn't find anything extra special about it. Like most places of the sort, they pack you in as close as possible and then some, and overcharge for water (7) and beer (14) . The service was good, and they were friendly, and lines moved fast. The parking options were many, close, with easy access.
