This symphony hall is beautiful. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house. The design is beautiful. The acoustics are amazing. Caution on the Orchestra level the hallway to sections ABCDEFG is steep. The theater entrance to each section has a slant up, caution there.

I performed here just yesterday, and it was honestly kind of magical! The hall is gorgeous, and sound projects really well! Performing here was really crazy, hearing ourselves, but hearing the other groups was wild too. The All State Wind Symphony played Angels in the Architecture by Frank Ticheli, and while the song itself is already amazing, this is definitely one of the best spaces out there you can here music like this live!

Last night's performance at Abravanel Hall, featuring the incredibly talented Jenny Oaks Baker, was nothing short of mesmerizing. From the moment we entered the iconic venue, with its stunning architecture and impeccable acoustics, we knew we were in for a special treat.Jenny Oaks Baker, with her violin, took the stage and transported us through a journey of emotions, from the delicate whispers of classical melodies to the robust vigor of contemporary pieces. Her connection with the instrument is profound, making each note resonate not just in the hall, but deep within the soul. The ambiance of Abravanel Hall, with its elegant interior and the warmth of the lighting, complemented the performance beautifully, creating an intimate experience despite the grandeur of the venue. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring a seamless evening for all attendees. What stood out the most was the synergy between Jenny and the acoustics of Abravanel Hall. It felt as though the hall was specifically designed to enhance the nuances of her performance, making it an unforgettable auditory experience. In conclusion, the evening was a perfect blend of stellar performance by Jenny Oaks Baker and the unparalleled atmosphere of Abravanel Hall. It's a memory that will be cherished forever, and I eagerly anticipate the next opportunity to attend a performance at this venue. Five stars are not enough to capture the magic of last night.

This venue is top notch. The acoustics are great. Every seat in the house is great. We got to hear MCO perform and it was incredible. And it's a beautiful hall. I do think their refreshment prices are ridiculous but why not?

Wonderful acoustics and not a bad seat in the house, the upper side gallery all single-forward facing seats. But lots of stairs if you're up there, and okay lighting on at least one side of the stairwell. Once inside getting to will call and seats is relatively easy. But parking is horrendous, partially due to all the lane closures and construction. IF you use the underground parking, expect at least 45 minutes to leave once the concert is over, since 4 levels have to funnel through just a few exits (doesn't really matter if you prepay or not as the parking barrier still has to "read" your ticket). Best advice, come real early, park 3 or 4 blocks away at a minimum, or just take public transport or stay overnight. Don't let the horrible parking be the ruin of your end of night memory. All said, well worth a visit...
