Charline McCombs Empire Theatre Concerts 2025

This is a nice, cozy venue! There really isn't a bad seat in these old theaters, but they are cozy. Tall guys be warned, there isn't much leg room. There were plenty of drink stations, so waiting for a drink wasn't a big issue. The theater is easy to get in and out of in terms of parking. I used the Market Street garage and just walked two blocks to the theater. The Houston Street garage can be a bit crowded to get in and out of. It's not a problem if you leave early enough for your show. It was my first time in the Empire Theater, but I'd definitely go back again to see another show.

I know it's an old, historic venue. But man, the seats make an airplane seem luxurious. Very tight on knees (and I'm average height) and shoulders. The one bathroom is in the basement but that's livable. Sound OK bit definitely not high-end acoustics. I'll probably avoid in the future for how much a show costs.

Super venue! It is so beautiful and ornate! The sound wasn't the best, but it'll do.

This is beautiful theatre. We saw. "The court of peripheral opulence" It was very funny and entertaining. If your in San Antonio, make time to take this or any other show they're putting on.. kinda like a local "live" version of Saturday night... Check it out.

Great, nice theater that has kept an old look and feel to it. Steep stairs and balcony seats as well as tight fitting seats. We watch the Simon and Garfunkel Story which was really good as well.
