Not for children I recently visited the Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park, San Diego, with my family, and we found it to be an immersive experience filled with hands-on activities that genuinely captivated our curiosity. The inclusion of a free movie ticket with entry is a nice touch, adding value to the overall experience. However, I must note that the ticket prices are on the higher side, so I recommend looking for coupons or visiting on discount days to make the most of your visit. While the center is primarily geared towards children, with a vast array of educational exhibits that are both fun and informative, I encountered an exhibit that I felt was designed to hypersexualize and groom children that had nothing to do with science but was completely politically motivated. I would give them a five-star review if it wasn't for this completely inappropriate section of the museum.

Science museum in Balboa Park. Free parking in nearby lot. We were able to enter the Science Center for free with our ASTC reciprocal membership, but given the dated and limited exhibits, I would have been disappointed if we paid full price ($25 adults/$20 children) for admission. While there were some interesting exhibits...but not to justify the addmission price(s). If you are looking into visiting a few museums in Balboa Park, the Explorer Pass may be a good option for you. We completed the visit in about 1.5 hours while completed most (if not all) of the exhibits.

Great place for kids. Lots of fun interactive exhibits. Try to avoid the days there are field trips. It can get very crowded with so many kids there. Parking is easy, adults are $24 and kids under 3 are free.

I took my daughters (3 & 5) here for a few hours after school, and we had a blast! We need to come back for a longer visit. The color exhibit was amazing and very interactive. The makerspace activity was just the right difficulty so they could do most of it unassisted, and create their own souvenir to take home. They played "grocery store" in Kid City for about an hour. We only saw about half of everything in our 3 hours there. Next time, we will go through parts we missed, but Kid City and the makerspace will be a must each time. Also the ball pit!

Nice educational to bring the whole family, can spend a good few hours here. I especially like the Dome Theatre, which is included in the general admission fare ( 1 movie). Highly recommended if you are visiting San Diego
