The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park Concerts 2025

Gorgeous venue suited to artists who want to put on a spectacular show. Be prepared to pay top $ for food and drink, though. Also be skeptical of the rules for what you can and can't bring in - the email from the event gave a different list than what security operates off of!

Man this place is just awesome!!! Came to see one of my favorite bands play with the symphony Everyone is so nice and helpful. The acoustics are awesome. The only thing I didn’t care for was that the seats were hard and they lacked enough restrooms If you’re running late they have food and drinks food is about $20 a person drinks about $10-12

Great place in downtown San Diego to see a concert. You get impressive views of the water and downtown skyscrapers. Many nights there's a glorious sunset.

This is an exceptional venue in every way! The sound is incredible, the setting is unbelievable. It is visually a beautiful wonderment for any musical performance. The staff is top drawer. Ease to move around freely and easily is unmatched. Concessions and restroom facilities are well kept, clean and any event there is simply a treat! Keep in mind that parking for events there is at the nearby Hilton, where your car is safe, secure and easy access...only a five minute walk to the venue itself. There are plenty of three wheeled bike shuttles that will get you to and from the venue and parking for a nominal fee, if you choose not to walk the half mile. I could write five more paragraphs on this venue, however all I will add here is that if you are thinking about enjoying a performance at Rady Shell. Do it. You will be delighted and very happy that you went! Wonkaland for Music Lovers!

Beautiful venue, with top-notch sound capabilites. The terrace levels built into the ground/artificial turf is genius for allowing bleacher-like site lines. Our (general admission) standing event went well, with plenty of room in the designated VIP front corral. My only complaint was with lighting.. Although the lighting capabilities of the venue are excellent, the show producers must have not chose to use a manned spot light; the lead singer was backlit & their face was impossible to see for the entire night!
