San Jose Improv Concerts 2025-2026

Great venue. Good acts. Went to see Brad Williams. Great show. He went way over time. Usually an hour long set. He stayed to see everyone in the audience who lined up. Good sight lines all around. Seats around 500. . Food leaves much to be desired. The guacamole and chips? Was mostly corn salsa and maybe quarter teaspoon of avocado. Key lime pie cups You had to struggle to taste any citrus. Giant lumps of fat. Girlfriend says it tasted like unsweetened butter.

The venue is in a historic theatre. The architecture and interior are quite interesting. It is more on the intimate side of things. There is a 2-item minimum for each person. Drinks were okay. My Shirley Temple smelled a little bit like old cherry bathroom soap. They put on a great drag show with Alyssa Edwards though. There are couple of affordable parking lots around.

Great spot for a comedy show and date night. Service is excellent. We celebrated my wife's birthday by seeing one of her favorite comedians. We were both amazed at the clean place and great staff.

Go!! Wonderful venue and great staff. If you're fortunate enough you'll meet a guy named Rick. Rick is the man! When you arrive the staff will bring you to a table and Rick went out of his way to seat us at a wonderful table with a GREAT view. Go see your favorite comic and enjoy the best staff in San Jose!!

The San Jose Improv is a great place to see a comedy show. The lower level is tables for food and drink service. The upper level is the general admission seating. These seats also include in seat drink service by scanning a QR code. I do wish you could walk up to the bar and get your own drink. Sound quality is good and overall a nice stop for the weekend laughs.
