The New Vic / Ensemble Theatre Company Concerts

Susan an usher was quite rude when she asked me being 6ft tall to duck down when I got up. The theater is 30 percent full, and I am 6ft tall. If this is necessary they need to put height requirements for the first row. Granted it's dead and there are only 2 people in the front row. Very unprofessional. It's a shame seeing most of the audience are in their 80s. It's a shame shes making 20 to 30 year olds uncomfortable and not want to attend local theater

I'm a huge fan. I love theater. The physical space of this one is special. There's an inner courtyard where talks can be given about the play or where patrons can enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee before the play or at intermission. Inside, all of the seats have good sightlines. Nowadays it's uncommon for theaters to offer plays. Music is the norm at most, but not this one. I highly recommend it.

Cool venue, a little tight on the seating but sound is good.

I went to the "New Vic Theatre," a totally redone version of an old downtown building with lots of history. What a pleasure! Each comfortable seat had a great view of the stage and is placed so that each row is low enough that people's heads don't block your view. The lecture was excellent and the sound quality good enough to hear the speaker. I'll be back!
