Trinity Episcopal Church Reviews

Everything seemed wonderful: The architectural beauty, the choir, the reading of the Gospel; but then came the ministers blasphemous remark disguisedas humorous regarding the parable that has just been read. I walked out immediately. I cannot believe such a mindless remark would ever be uttered by a minister. What did she say? Worst parable ever and proclaim we all shared her sentiment. Never in my life would I ever question the quotes of God in this way let alone in a church. Shane in them and all them who tolerate that in their church. I am a visitor. They are mostly all regulars.

Wonderful, welcoming and affirming. Strong social justice actions We knew right away we found our new church home shortly after moving to Santa Barbara

This church has traditionally had beautiful music put on by local musicians! Unfortunately the new music minister doesn’t understand the community and can’t stop himself from bringing in his musician friends from LA. Stop letting LA’s musicians encroach on what we already have here. Santa Barbara should not be an extension of LA!

Gothic architecture, we've enjoyed a few concerts here over the years, because the acoustics are amazing!

Trinity is a beautiful Church made of stone and adorned with Stain Glass. Members are active in the community and concerned with social issues. I was a member of the outreach committee. Very well intentioned congregation. Unfortunately some are not up to speed as to how the poverty industry is affecting the quality of life in Santa Barbara. This is a serious problem with many Churches in Santa Barbara. They are not well versed regarding actual accounting and accomplishments by people who are in the poverty industry. This lack of understanding and oversight is endemic to Santa Barbara. Many do not understand sugar and corn syrup are actually lead into drugs for people with substance abuse issues. Sugar is not a treat! Sugar is a drug! Stimulating need for more drugs. Yet Churches are one of the most transgressors distributing this poison in Santa Barbara. A little sugar is not harmful, but sugar is prevalent in virtually all processed foods and wreaking havoc on American citizens. Physical and mental health are affected. Including Dementia!
