Rivers Casino & Resort - Schenectady Concerts 2025

This casino/resort is gorgeous and seems like brand new. Super clean the lobby, and check-in was a breeze. Rooms we got facing the river with 2 queens are beautiful, spacy and so fresh. Starbucks just opened and is a bonus. Slot machines are plenty and there large variety of table games. We won a good chunk. It's definitely worth a visit!

We were getting our car serviced at Mohawk Honda and they offered to take us to River Casino since it was going to be about 4 hours. We didn’t know about River Casino. As long time Atlantic City goers this was a pleasant surprise. Upon getting dropped off we did a walk starting on the Bike Trail along the Mohawk River before entering the Casino. My wife got a player card and played some video poker. I walked around checking out the rest of the casino as she played. It’s a nice looking casino with a few places to eat and lots of machines to play at. We plan to go back and do an overnight trip so we can check out the hotel and other amenities. Overall River Casino has a good vibe and a nice look. It’s well worth a visit if you like casinos.

Long story, so read throughly. On 11/12/23 I was having my wedding at Rivers Casino. Prior to that I was in search of the appropriate venue that could host, cater, sleep and provide an overall quality experience for 150 guest. Rivers casino/ Landing hotel was able to not only sell me a service, it was a pressure less, no obligation initial meet with so many questions. Fast forward, the sales team not only met me with every bit of detail to expect, the numbers and services they provided us with included efficient and timely responses and highly accurate figures in which I could expect to pay. After the meet and greets and agreements. We provided a list of ideas, a vision in which we were ready to capture on our big day. These folks executed this task flawlessly. From linens and napkins to floor layouts and bar setups. Cocktail hour planning and signature drinks. We had flowers delivered and setup but they assisted in minor adjustments as a courtesy. Rivers has some amazing folks working on their team. Operations team was essential as they helped to coordinate our wedding parties movements, timing, line ups and how we were to execute entrances as well as exits. The constant check ins and follow ups with us was unanimously agreed upon and seen as beneficial. The food service was profound. At our tasting I made some critiques and alterations that the kitchen was very receptive of. When it came to the big day, the dinner came out with every addition and alteration made. It surpassed the standard, and was perfect. We chose Salmon, Steak, Gnocchi with mashed potatoes two ways. The Landing staff for the hotel included desk people all shifts, custodial staff and cleaners. Locked doors, lost keys and plenty of back and forth they were there for us. I can't express enough gratitude to all things perfectly done by these supporting individuals. I highly recommend booking your upcoming wedding.

I came tonight to get food at Mian Chinese restaurant. I was treated poorly and did not get what I ordered. They didn’t solve the problem and I had to call a manager over the one on duty. Don’t expect anything special. I could have had a whole lot better food at a neighborhood take out or food court!! I asked for fried rice and got white rice with soy sauce dumped on it no egg or flavor! Then nothing but pathetic looks on the faces of the American servers and the manager on duty. Stay away unless you want to over pay for substandard service and tasteless food.

It was really nice here from March madness and I won 200 with five dollars. It was great there. Kinda cloudy but a little loud lots of lights and everybody wanted to take my money. Lots of strippers, gay man big black guys chasing me with baby oil, they locked me in the janitors closet 10 out of 10 would go again
