Hotel Crocodile Reviews

This is my 2nd time staying at the crocodile, the rooms are beautiful and each has a different aesthetic and vibe, but overall very cozy and welcoming. The beds are super comfortable and the shower is the best. It is above a music venue, but you can't beat the convenience of seeing a show here and staying here. They provide ear plugs if that's not your kinda thing but there's quiet hours after 10pm. Can't wait to book for a 3rd time in the future!

Overall, we had a good stay. The staff stored our luggage, check in was smooth, and there’s extra towels/room items available 24/7. There’s a great bar downstairs, lots of good restaurants within walking distance, and the location is great. You also can’t beat getting out of a concert and walking right upstairs to your room! We did have a situation which negatively affected our stay, which was that we booked a queen suite and were put in a room with 3 twin bunk beds. Don’t get me wrong, the room was very cute and had a good sitting area, but it’s not what we booked and definitely not as comfy as what we’d paid for. When brought up to one of the staff members, they did provide a small discount but the other rooms were sold out. They said that when booking online (directly through their website), that sometimes if the type of room booked is actually sold out, it automatically assigns guests to a different type of room. Had this been communicated with us ahead of time, we likely would’ve chosen another hotel. Overall, I do recommend staying here, but call to book your reservation instead of booking online so you can be sure you get the type of room you’d like.

Great hotel! lovely clean and decorated rooms - great vibes and location for music lovers. Was super cool to be able to hear one of my favourite bands sound check from my room.

What a wonderful stay. First off, the host was so helpful and kind. Definitely a great way to start a stay. Our room was VERY VERY clean, and so quirky. We had everything we needed. The beds were cozy, and rain shower was a pleasant surprise. We could feel the vibrations from the concert and hear a little music… we thought it was cool. But definitely be aware if you plan to stay. The neighborhood was quiet, and we found take out and a grocery right away. Definitely recommend you stay here!

Honestly I can't believe this hotel has so few reviews - we had a FABULOUS stay! The hotel is very small and unique. It is above The Crocodile music venue and around the corner from a sister venue. The sister venue did have a concert on the night of our stay but it wasn't noisy in our room at all. All of the spaces, including the rooms and lobby, are thoughtfully decorated. The beds and chairs in our room (12, two queens) were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for four women to unpack, hang out, and grab a good night's sleep. There is no front desk person like you would find at a traditional hotel, but they do have a 24/7 virtual assistant who I called twice (once to locate towels, once to find a lost item), and they picked up on the first ring both times! They were very polite and helpful. To get inside the building and into your room, you use a key code. I loved this system and found it very easy to use. There is also a supply room that is stocked with towels, ear plugs, cold water, ice, extra batteries, etc. etc. - everything you could possibly need! There was also fruit, candy, coffee, and tea available in the lobby. The building felt very safe and was in a great location - walking distance to Pike Place and lots of restaurants and bars. Overall, I enjoyed staying here far more than a generic hotel chain. I'll definitely be staying at Hotel Crocodile the next time I'm in Seattle.
