Canterbury Park Concerts

Spent the afternoon at Canterbury Park in Shakopee Minnesota at the Derby Party prior to the Kentucky Derby. Enjoyed the festivities. Enjoyed some bbq sandwiches, popcorn, and cupcakes. Fun to see the hats and people dressing up. This was my first time watching the Kentucky Derby and my first time at Canterbury Park.

By far the best casino/racetrack in MN. Awesome staff, the area upstairs where you can watch dozens of TVs and see virtually every race live is great, and the track at Canterbury is awesome for live racing. Seen the skijoring for the first time, and wow was it a ton of fun. Will definitely be going again next year.

Really fun track with gambling, horse racing, decent bars, events, and sometimes even music.

Went here for a small event, and been here one other time to see horse races, just for fun. I noticed a casino on site as well. The facility was a whole, seems a bit dated and worn. When you can be outside it can be nice. It is how one would imagine a Casino and horse track to be. Though I see some renovations are being done in the stable areas, so maybe change is on the way.

Recently had our employee appreciation party there. We had a great time; the food was excellent and the staff were great. Our host was Chris he and the table game dealers made it very fun playing with funny money. Having a work party or other get together; Canterbury Park won't disappoint you. This was a super idea by my company. Thanks to all Canterbury Park staff it was memorable!
