Clay County Fair Concerts

Definitely was the best county fair I've ever been to. My only disappointment was that the tiger show got cancelled due to rainy weather that made their equipment slick & dangerous. On the plus side, that says to me that the man truly cares for his big beautiful kitties.

What's not to love about all that crazy fair food! But since I cannot eat it... they had some really good choices.. like a plain baked potato and a veggie gyros.. thingswere kept clean. Rides felt safe. And they had golf cart shuttles for parking. It was a great day for the family. Oh and the farm animals too

We went on the last day of the fair. Everything was amazing. The food, vendor, and my kids fode every ride.

Still the premier county fair in Iowa, a smaller, less crowded version of the Iowa Stae Fair. Free parking north of the fairgrounds. My grandkids love the midway. We buy wristbands to hold down the cost, and lines tend to be very short so they can ride to their hearts content. It's always been a really great ag fair with a large display area, but also has multiple vendors of household products, as well as a sizeable recreational footprint. I always make sure I have a couple of the Y's Nutty Bars, but there is a wide selection of food for all. We also took in a couple of free tent shows (The Britan's put on a spot on tribute of Beatles music), and in the evening we watched a tremendous show in the Grandstand headlined by Peter Noone with Herman's Hermits!

Good old fashioned fun abounds here! Meet the animals and the tremendous folks who care and work so hard to present them. Rides, food vendors, shows, vendors, displays, and good clean fun!
