It's such a great venue for small shows! Sells out frequently, and it is very easy to get up close to the bands! It feels much more intimate and a lot more fun than a lot of other larger venues. Bands can be more like themselves and have a better, more lively time with the crowd. Highly recommend to anyone, parking is a bit awkward and hard to find, but otherwise it has always been an amazing experience. I would say it is just one of my favorite venues overall!! I will absolutely continue going here as long as there are shows there!!

It's the Lost. It may as well be a landmark if it isn't already. So many great shows have come through the place. We recently went to a show, and it was great.

My friend and I are huge Chris Jericho fans, and found out that his band Fozzy was playing at The Lost Horizon in Syracuse, and we jumped at the first opportunity to see him. The show itself was fantastic; however the venue had a LOT to be desired. As stated below, it is extremely hot, muggy, and the air is very stagnant. I found myself sweating profusely as the night went on, and the whole building is ran by 2 residential AC units as shown from the outside of the building. Towards the end of the show, I almost felt like I was going to pass out, we left a song early before the show ended as I had to get out of there. The staff had a barn fan on premises (joke) and wouldn’t even point it at us or keep it on us with an excuse “the band doesn’t want it on” as everyone was a hot mess; literally. The bartenders are attractive, which is a positive, but it’s a shot dive bar that shouldn’t be doing shows of this caliber and size; too much. On top of that; parking is a complete joke, as you have to park 4 businesses down, and if you aren’t careful, you put your vehicle at risk of being towed if you don’t do research beforehand on their Facebook page of where to park. If Fozzy comes around, I’ll go, but I’ll never go to this venue again. Pass.

An old high-school bud and I saw Soulfly at the Lost Horizon, and the band was awesome. The venue itself was a nice smaller size and had a good set up. Sometimes smaller places can end up ruining the sound because it is way too loud for the space, but the sound engineer did an excellent job, loud but clear. You can see the stage from almost anywhere and the eye candy working the bar was a definate plus. Like others have commented, maybe they work at the "gentleman's" club next door. Only negative about this venue is the parking lot was way too small! I couldn't park anywhere near the place.

This place hasn't changed much in 15 years I've been coming. The bar staff is great and very nice. The sound system here is awesome. Security is generally very cool but keep you honest. They have a wide variety of beer to suit everyone. The downside is parking. Look at the website and park in the lot specified! Colonial Laundromat, Autozone and Popeyes do NOT allow parking there! Do yourself a favor and park at the Distillery and walk the one way street right to the door!
