Everyone is a pleasure to work with. Charlie Pilzer is a magician! I love the feel, looks, set up and acoustics fo the studio too. I love working there, especially with Charlie! He's the best!

Because of the combination of the technical experience of the staff, the beautifully designed recording and mixing rooms and the massive range of microphones and recording gear, Tonal Park is a really amazing place. Don Godwin is a very skilled and dedicated engineer with impeccable taste, and he brings a vibe to the space that is very warm and welcoming. The location in heart of the Takoma Park neighborhood and close proximity to many cool places to grab take-out for your session is also ideal. It’s the perfect setup!

As a professional audio engineer and musician with over 30 years experience, I cannot overstate the importance of not only quality and upkeep of a facility, but how the functionality and capability of the staff creates a balance which instills the trust necessary for creatives to achieve their goals. Tonal Park has exceeded my expectations every time I have set foot through their doors. It's no surprise that the founders also ran the mastering facility I entrusted my work to (Airshow) in my youth, when I was only a full time musician. Mike and Don are attentive, highly skilled, honest, and endlessly positive. The technical facility is top notch, loaded with the highest quality equipment, and always evolving to meet fast changing, modern standards. They have my complete trust.

Tonal Park is my favorite recording studio in the DMV! I had a great time recording a 5-song EP with Don Godwin. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Don was open to many different musical ideas and went out of his way to get the perfect sound within our time and budget limitations. I can't wait to record more at Tonal Park.

Tonal Park Studios was actually an answer to prayer in my search for a mastering engineer for my new album release in June 2022. I had reached out to everyone I knew and some recommended engineers from trusted colleagues and artist friends of mine. But no one was available. So, I did a Google search and found a couple that seemed to offer what I was looking for. I emailed them both but only Mike Petillo of Tonal Park responded. Then I learned they were only minutes away from me. Wow! I was mad that I hadn't known about them before. Tonal Park is wonderful in every way! And Randy LeRoy, Senior Mastering Engineer did a wonderful job for me on my new album! It sounds amazing! And Randy provided all the files for CD duplication and every other format I needed ahead of schedule! I recommend Tonal Park to any serious recording artist who needs mastering work done. They are the epitome of professionalism, patience and excellence--all done with great customer service and friendly personality! I really enjoyed working with them and plan to go back to Tonal Park on my next project! Thanks Mike and Randy for a really awesome job!
