Troy Savings Bank Music Hall Concerts 2025

Attended a concert there on Friday. It's a beautiful old hall (built in 1875) which has retained its charm. Original seats (which were surprisingly comfortable), attractive wooden staircases (but there is an elevator to many of the levels), box seats along the sides, a pretty chandelier, and all sorts of architectural accents to catch your eye. My friends sat down in the Dress Circle and I sat up in the Balcony. I had a great view of the stage and the acoustics were perfect, but my friends said they had no trouble seeing and could hear just fine from where they were. The ushers were helpful and the women's bathroom was clean. I didn't take advantage of concessions, so cannot comment on that. Parking was no problem. I parked in the State Street garage, which is just a bit nearer to the Hall than the 5th Avenue garage. Both are free to park in after 6:00 pm on Friday, and through the weekend. There are lots of restaurants in the area, if you'd like to dine prior to your event.

This was our first time here and the place was beautiful. All seats were great! A cute little slice of heaven!

Great acoustics. Very-well maintained theatre of 140 years old! The seats are predictably small and tight, but that is to be expected given the age of the theatre. Overall, a positive experience, but any show past 90 minutes is testing one's comfort, especially if you are long-legged/tall. Would suggest an intermission for shows lasting past 90 min.

What a beautiful venue!! Graceful old world charm from an era gone by...marble staircases, huge chandelier, the box seats, the pipes for the organ!! Everywhere you look- lovely!! (Modern day elevator too!!) Saw Taylor Dayne show last night and was blown away by the building and the show. Smaller theater space is so personal! Ushers were friendly and helpful too. Concession stand has the right idea with reusable lidded cups for beverages! (And they're cute too!!)

Concerts here feel intimate. It is a great venue. The seats themselves are not that comfortable.
