Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum Concerts 2024

This place was once the pride of Nassau County. Great shows...good events...reasonable prices. Now a days...this place is on its last leg. Events are few and far between. It most likely going to be turned into a casino. Some folks like that. Some don't. Today I was at a LEGO event that was insanely overpriced. Then a parking fee of $20 was added and not mentioned at the time I bought the tickets. You are also forbidden to bring in your own food and drinks. But this is for a Kids LEGO event. Soft Drinks were over 7 bucks and a hog dog or pretzel would have been in lieu of a mortgage payment. It's no wonder this once proud facility is bleeding to death. It is no longer sustainable for the average family to enter. Yet...many come. Soon...they won't be able to.

Very nice place to go for sports. We've been watching the Riptide lacrosse game tonight and had a great time. They even have an outdoor smoking section, unlike most other public places nowadays. The food was good as well. Very nice atmosphere and a happy crowd.

Had a great time visiting for the hot wheels monster truck show with my 5 year old son and my father in law. The venue was clean, safe, and convenient. It was pretty outrageous that they charged $35 for parking though. If you don’t want to pay, what will you do? Just walk half a mile?

The Brick Feast was a nice family event, my 5 years old son had a great time building Legos, specially in the car race station where all the kids were able to build their own car and see it race with the other cars. I wish the Lego sculpture were displayed with maybe a background , but I have to say they were amazing!!!

We went to see Hot wheels monster truck. It was a good first show. The cars are illuminated This is our 2nd time seeing a monster truck show.
