This is an historic building that, like the Tardis, seems bigger on the inside. When I say historic, I mean it, they have photos lining the hallway outside the theater with several famous vintage acts. Once you get used to the seating arrangements, everything makes sense (seat 1 to 4 on each row are on the far right with an aisle separating it from seat 5 and up until another aisle and 4 more seats on the left.) We saw several people sit in the wrong spots and adjust when someone came for the seat. It is a smaller more intimate venue which I think is perfect for some shows. Parking can be confusing so get there early and drive around a little. The sound is good and I expect to see several shows here.

Am embarrassed to say that even though my family and I have lived in Hewitt since 2005, this was our first visit to the Hippodrome (We Are Messengers concert.) What a historic venue, and we will definitely be back

Nice venue, great front center seats. The Frank Sinatra/ Dean Martin tribute guys were terrific.

If you want an up close & personal concert, than you definitely need to see one here! We had front row seating for The Bellamy Brothers & it was a very intimate experience as we were so close you could nearly touch them. The theatre itself does not have a huge seating capacity which is goid because again your not getting trampled by the masses. Dont except alot of room seating wise, plan accordingly. You most likely will be sharing a drink holder with a fellow patron. Think theatre seating before the world got fancy. The building itself is beautiful and a historical masterpiece. Concessions were a bit difficult to figure out. The conceert was close to dinner but its not like I wanted to order a meal & eat it right there. So there was a restaurant next store (in the same building) where you could order food and drinks but it really wasnt clear if there was a concessions area for a quick snack. Also it cost almost 15 for a small draft beer and 1 mixed drink. I would definitely go again. Maybe Ill do a bit of homework first or toss a snack in my bag. As coke was 3.00 for a cup too😏

A more than amazing theater in the heart of Waco that is sure to impress with its great shows and events. Definitely worth walking around inside on a non-busy day! For film and theater students this is a true gem of a space to work in.
