My Jacuzzi did not work in my Jacuzzi room, but this was the very least of my problems as I had someone try and succeed to break into my room several times. I was traveling for a work trip alone as a 105 pound girl and this was my worst nightmare come to life. The hotel only changed out my hotel cards and gave me a door stop. I was safe but only due to my quick thinking and problem solving abilities. Who knows what would have happened if I have not done this. Another thing is that I found what looked to be a camera facing the Jacuzzi in the main room. Wifi didn't work and I had terrible service too.

Guys need a remodel. Still smells like smoke in the rooms bad. I don't know what it is but it just does. I am a loyal customer and I still return but come on guys it's not like u can't afford it! U can..and I know I am not the only one that feels this way.

It's always a great time at Northern Lights. The casino is a bit of a drive but the hotel always has rooms available. Their pool and hot tub are the best a person can experience. A pool that is adult-friendly deep and large enough to swim. A hot tub with strong jets and hot enough water to make it the best experience ever.

Although the property lacked renovation, it was clean and quiet . We were orginally put on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool but without a window to the outside, we felt uncomfortable. We went back to the hotel desk and described our concerns and immediately the staff moved us to a different room with no questions asked. This was our very first stay at this property so I guess I should have asked more question during check in. Both Noah and Dawnielle a the front desk were very polite, professional and so willing to take care of us. We really appreciated the great service they both provided. The next morning I ordered takeout from the North Star Restaurant and server Kelly Goose was also very nice and professional. Overall, we had a nice stay and are looking forward to returning in the future.

I reserved my room 4 months in advance. I get to the hotel after a long drive and check in, only to find none of the keys work. So I go back down thinking they gave me the wrong room and he sent me back up to the same room, which wasn't even the type of room I reserved. When I came in there was water all over the floor, it smelled musty, and it appeared the room hadn't been cleaned up! I went back down and asked to switch to a different room as I had to get in the shower and get ready to go to an event, and I was told all rooms were reserved so they couldn't switch me (even though other people hadn't checked in yet). So I had to wait for maintenance and then wait for housekeeping and then find out the shower isn't working correctly so they tell me to go take a shower at the pool! They also said it could be at least a day or so until they could fix it because they may not have the parts, and I said I wasn't comfortable with people coming in and out of my room. So they tell me to just bring all my stuff down to the office each day!! Seriously?? The maint/ housekeeping staff were very friendly and tried to help, so they are the reason I bumped up my stars. They alone are the reason.
