Wisconsin State Fair Park Concerts

My family and I LOVE going to the state fair in August. We try to go here every year. We also go to the state fair park for Harvest Fest in fall. The state fair has so much to do for the entire family ~ kids and adults alike. There are rides and games, tons of food and beverage places, activities for the kids. The expo center is super fun. There is a lot to see in there. I also enjoy doing the pull tabs, which is located in the expo center. Plenty of bathrooms with no wait time and they were clean. Cost for an adult ticket was 18 dollars and a child one was 13 dollars ~ ages 6 to 11. And children five and under are free to get in. We purchased tickets at the door as it was easy. You are allowed to bring in water bottles. Check purse and bag sizes before going as only certain sizes are allowed. Plenty of parking. We parked off site at a local persons home for 15 dollars and the walk to the fair was super short. They accept both cash and cards here. You do have to go through security and bags are checked. Tons of friendly people. I highly recommend going here! Make a day of it because there is a lot to see! Edit ~ went here for Harvest fair / fest and had a blast too. Was free to get in just had to pay 10 dollars for parking. I definitely recommend going here.

We just completed our 31st event at State Fair Park. It was wonderful from set up to take down. Everyone is so helpful and accommodating. They think of things we did not to help make our event run smoothly. Thank you for everything Melinda and Melissa from Just Between Friends of Milwaukee

The 2023 State Fair is one of the highlights of my year. It never disappoints. I really like the generated anticipation that is clever marketing. I love the list of new foods that is available. I also love the fair favorites like the Mexican corn, cheese curds, smoothies and funnel cake. I also like going into the pavilions to see what is new. This is an event that everyone looks forward to every year!

Who could ever hate pumpkin spice and coffee latte cream puffs?! Brats, Italian sausages, roasted corn, corn dogs, apple strudel, and all sorts of fair food to give you a happy food baby! ❤️ Make your own scarecrow area was so cute, and of course pumpkin bowling. Such a fun time with the family ona crisp cool fall afternoon at Harvest Fest! Any event at the State Fair grounds is a good time... always! ❤️

Very busy! Recommend arriving early to find a good parking spot not too far. Summers can be hot, but the amount of vendors with refreshments is astronomical. Plenty of rides and game for everyone, and the animals are kind. Check their website before arriving.
