Too bad about the s××× show LA has become. When we drove out of the hotel, people passed out (or dead) in yards, homeless camping on the sidewalks, and benches and guys in dresses, hookers and the dregs of the state are all within 3 min of the hotel. $65 parking / valet fee is ridiculous, but no other parking is available. We spent $50 on 2 drinks and tip. Gotta love LA. This was our second time back because we like the property so much and the staff. We got up graded to a floor 1 room which meant we had the pool just outside our door but at 3 am it is a bit of an issue as party people are partying. I get it, party hotel but I am old. Very eclectic crowd and the "me" movement is in full effect with the patrons hanging out. Laying on long seats so nobody else can sit. That should not reflect on the hotel but it was a bummer. All in all, a nice place that is not a Marriott.

The hotel is in a great location in WeHo. Some of the weird things were at check in I was 30 minutes or so early and my room was not ready until exactly at check in. No coffee maker or kettle in my room. With those small things aside the staff was warm and pleasant. I did eat 2 meals at the property to check out the restaurant. This is definitely not a fine dining restaurant and serves very simple bar food. The pizza was not bad but was not memorable either. Breakfast was just basic as well. To charge $18 for pancakes and still give me small plastic containers of syrup like I'm at a fast food restaurant was just lame. My server was super sweet and made up for the lackluster food. It was definitely not a loud party zone like I have heard in a bunch of other reviews. The 2 days I was there I never saw anyone else at the pool either.

Stayed at Hotel Ziggy this past weekend - would absolutely stay here again! Beautiful hotel with great rooms. Beds were super comfortable. The food and drinks were pricey but absolutely delicious and worth the cost! Attentive, kind staff members, especially Ms. Jackson and Allen!! Lots of activities and fun events at the hotel so you’re never bored.

When we arrived there was a mix-up with credit cards where they wanted us to pay for it again. This at first seemed like a genuine mixup but instead of attempting to resolve the issue like a professional adult, it descended into an argument. Half way through all this, a woman who was obviously a recent guest came in with the assistance of the local Sheriff to get her money back because she had been overcharged. Eventually the manager came to speak to me and whilst he was at least more professionally composed, he made promises to make sure the original pending charge would be voided and that he would let us know. We never heard from him again. The car valet system here makes no sense considering you can't always stop outside the hotel due to other vehicles, I honestly think it would be just easier for everyone of we could just park our own cars. It took 20 minutes to get our car back too. Considering the price the room wasn't particularly clean nor well maintained, the furniture and wall were worn. The main ceiling light didn't work and neither did the safe. The window only opened a few inches and the air conditioner was weak. The carpet had crumbs and someone's fingernails in it and the surfaces were generally dusty and dirty. By this point I didn't have the energy to deal with the reception staff again and didn't want this to completely ruin our trip. I don't like leaving bad reviews but we saved for so long to be available to afford what we thought was a fancy hotel and we'd have had a better time at a budget chain. I want to also point out that the majority of the staff we dealt with were friendly and doing a fine job.

Hotel Ziggy is ideally situated in a vibrant area, surrounded by charming cafes, convenient bus stops, and interesting places to visit. However, my experience was marred by several issues. Firstly, the reception staff I encountered lacked helpfulness and were quite strict about check-in times, which was disappointing. The most significant drawback was the noise level within the hotel. The lobby music was incessant and loud, making it impossible to get any rest before midnight. This severely impacted the overall quality of my stay. Considering these factors, I regret to say that I cannot recommend Hotel Ziggy to others, as the noise levels and service quality detracted significantly from what could have been an enjoyable experience.
