This place is awesome! I love the decor. I actually thought the phone on the wall still worked. The drinks and the food were on point. Great place for live music. The even offer ear plugs.

This place is a cool venue! It's small so it feels more intimate, yet breathable. I went to a sold out show and there was still room to jump around and it didn't feel overly crowded. There is an upstairs with seating. Honestly, good views from every angle! And the merch is cool!

Who knew??? The TROUBADOUR has food... LOL. I've been here 100 times and first time I noticed. Attended last night for an Aretha Franklin tribute, incredible show. The bar bites are fantastic BTW. Check out my photo of the menu, good stuff cheap. Great burgers! Best venue in LA for live music, sound system is unbeatable, the artists booked are the beat of the best, and it's cozy inside. Usually packed. I like the front bar and the upstairs bar, they tend to be less packed. The middle bar is a zoo LOL but great seats for the show. All of the bartenders are ladies (girl power!) and the service is quick given the size of the crowds they are serving. Fire up a hot dog next time you go! LOL. They won't disappoint!

Can't believe I've never penned a review of this LA institution which has been hosting rock and rock adjacent shows for a half century. First tip if you are a casual visitor is make sure the night you want to go is not sold out because shows here frequently sell out. Parking is a perpetual issue. They have 25 valet spots, but those are limited. Street parking is impossible most nights but if you look on the Beverly Hills side you may be able to find something. The weho public lot is a good option if you can do a 10 minute walk and if they have spaces when you arrive. You can grab a pre-show drink at Dan Tanas but don't expect to eat there unless you book far, far in advance. Plenty of food in weho next door and plenty to do after if you swing that way (or any way). Sound is great, drinks are cold and the food ain't half bad. Balcony has places to sit if you can get up the stairs.

Very nice place! Full of rock and roll history, It's very small and intimate. Gritty and real. Not some tourist trap. I had an excellent time watching singer-songwriter Gilbert O'Sullivan perform about 6 ft away from me! Really really cool! Someone even showed me pictures of John Lennon being escorted out way back in the early '70s because he had had a little too much to drink! ...If the walls could talk! 😃😃😃 PS: Park around the corner at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel. Valet service - very reasonable!
