Planet Trog Entertainment Complex Reviews

We just had my son’s 19th birthday party here last night. My Son said that this was his favorite birthday party. We opted to do the two hour package. We spent the first hour in the arcade and the second hour plain laser tag. Difficulty settings can be set by the owner based on the age and skill level. The manager runs a tight ship. You want to be on time. We decided to skip the food portion so that we can utilize the two hours for the arcade and the laser tag. Afterwards we did an after party at White Castle and the kids had a blast! Everyone had a great time. No injuries just pure action and fun. The only thing I was nervous about before we got here were the reviews here stating that the place was run down. It is an old warehouse building That’s what makes it so amazing. The laser tag section of the building is absolutely HUGE — It blows away the local resort versions of laser tag. The arcade games are quite old, but that was OK. Older members enjoyed the games. I would recommend 30 minutes in the arcade and an hour to an hour and a half of laser tag. If you know your party would enjoy the arcade then do an hour of Arcade and an hour of laser tag. The fact that these machines are so old, just gave a place an amazing vibe. So our event was five out of five stars without a doubt. Everybody left pumped up the entire place is gold. No place like this in Pennsylvania. 33 years of playing laser tag —- this place knows exactly what it’s doing. It’s old. It’s a warehouse. It’s an amazing freaking game of laser tag by people who know how to run a laser tag venue!!!

We held our son’s 13th birthday party here. Sure, the place has seen better days and is a little rundown, as many of the reviews state. However, the gameplay was excellent. The staff ran various games and the equipment was functioning well. The price is reasonable for what you get. If you’re coming for Lasertag, you won’t find better in the LV.

A fun place that has definitely seen some better times. Apparently you have to rent the whole place out now, which isn't too bad. They allow you to bring your own food and drink, and they have a small arcade with a bunch of older machines. The laser tag was fun with several game modes and a decent sized arena.

This place was a bust. They don't let you tour the facility before you book. And now I see way very run down must of the arcade games were out of order. The prizes were ridiculous. For example a regular blue Bic pen 100 tickets 1 pokemon card 200 tickets, 400 tickets for a hot wheel. Then on top of that the whole place had a leaky roof hugh trash can were all over the place. You book for 2 hours and rushed through it. Then they stop the laser tag session 15 minutes early. 2 other moms were going to book up coming party but are looking for othe venues now. Would never ever book or attend a party here again. I'd give a 1/2 star or no star if I could.

After a day skiing we googled activities in the area and Planet Trog came up. We arrived and it was a little unassuming. We joked about the entrance but went thru the iron gate and followed the sidewalk to door number one ;) It had a warehouse feel when we went in. Those that were working that evening were really friendly. My family that participated in laser tag said that it was a low-medium difficulty but the weapons seemed too complex for someone who doesn't play often. The VR room was pretty cool but only 2 people every 1/2 hour could participate. The guy who worked the VR room was uber friendly and even let us do more than one game in our 20 minute session. There are arcade games (about 20) that dispense tickets for the kids to exchange for toys. I think you should give it a try for a little hometown arcade! 🙂 I enjoyed just playing the arcade games!!
