The Sinclair Music Hall Reviews:

  • So good. TEMPLES is the artist I saw. The club is small but can handle a decent sized crowd. The layout is very much like Boston House of Blues, but shrunk 40% smaller. I like the place mainly due the staff being very friendly and bartenders are top notch. Would come back here again for sure!!! Good parking too. Right across the street. Must be a great place to bring friends or family, you won’t get lost here!!!! 5 Grand stars!!!!
  • Spacious set up for a small club. The entrance is set back and slightly hidden from the street but the inside is a worthwhile experience. The 3/4 wrap balcony overlooking the stage made for easy viewing at any area. A bar and bathrooms on both floors made for quick access. Parking is convenient if using the lot a half a block up the street, just past the venue.
  • This is a great music venue. I've seen a variety of shows here, and the sound has always been solid. The balcony is a good alternative to the floor. There is very little seating, so plan on being there early to find a seat. The restaurant is good, but there are limited gluten-free options. If you go to the restaurant before a show, make sure you get wristbands there so you can bypass the ID check on the way in to the venue. Source

  • A classic lunch spot for me. I come for the vegetarian options. Seating is comfortable. Food is flavorful, and there's often an enjoyable live music performance while you eat.
  • Great little club. This was my second time visiting for a concert. It's got a very intimate feel to it. It's easy to find, plenty of parking nearby. It's clean, overall a great stop.
  • I liked it the Chicken Kebab could have been more flavorful but I have had worse so I would definitely reccomend it. Ate the lunch plate with salad and beans ( they were floured and nicely cooked ). Would recommend it. Source

Brighton Music Hall Reviews:

  • Went to a Led Zepplin II concert celebrating 50 years of their second album released in 1969. Although this place bills itself as a music hall, it is more of a night club with standing room only and a very active bar. The acoustics here were awesome and we had front row visibility of the band. The musicians were dressed in 1970s garb, it felt that time had stood still for 50 years! The street outside was also very interesting with many ethnic restaurants- Brazilian, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese - it was a food paradise of inexpensive ethnic diners.
  • Great atmosphere, bring ear protection though unless you wanna go deaf. That's my only advice. Saw 2 concerts there last year and it's a very good venue.
  • Amazing, intimate venue with creative drinks and multiple bars. You feel up close and personal with the artist you're seeing. This was my first time at this venue and I've heard a lot about it. Definitely surpassed expectations and I was thrilled to see that their upcoming set list is so diverse. Looking forward to going back in December for Battles!! Happy to have found this spot. Source

House of Blues Boston presented by Cricket Wireless Reviews:

  • Great experience aside from no lighters inside! They're collected at the gate. Impressive set up with a bar located on both sides of the room. The flow of people traffic seemed to flow well when accessing the bathrooms. The overflow bathrooms outside the entrance ways where much faster without any line. A fun venue that I'm happy to attend in the future!
  • I went to see The Dead South which is an amazing band. I think they sound the same if not better then the album live. As for the House of House Blues I thought it was very clean, looked almost new. Very clean bathrooms which you don't see much at concerts. Your surrounded by bars so its quick and easy to get drinks++. Its overall a great place and I would definitely go back. 😘
  • This was my first time at the house of blues for a show. Initially when entering the venue it was confusing as to where/how to access the foundation room that I had paid extra to access before/during the show. The staff was extremely helpful with directing me to the foundation room. Source

6. Paradise Rock Club - Boston, MA

Paradise Rock Club Reviews:

  • THIS PLACE IS SO COOL! great vibe. they have a balcony with seating. plenty of restrooms. coat check. right on the bus lines. and on top of it all, they have a restaurant in the venue!!! guys there’s food! don’t gotta starve waiting 4 hours for your band to come on :)
  • Paradise is probably one of my favorite venues in Boston. It's intimate, but big enough that it draws a fun crowd. As long as you don't get suck standing behind a pillar, there is no bad view of the stage! They have a coat check, but I can't recall how much it costs. The few times I've used it, I've decided it's a better option to just bring a light jacket (the coat check is in the back of the venue, usually next to the merch table, and there can be a really long line to access it. If you absolutely need to check your coat, try to get it before the show ends so you don't have to wait in the line).
  • My girlfriend and I traveled to Boston to see Helmet (metal band) at the paradise rock club. The Paradise itself is a very compact little concert venue with the capacity for maybe 400 people tops. We were able to walk right up to the stage and watch the whole show from right there. It's difficult not to review Helmet, who crushed their show, and instead review the club itself but I'll try. The people working at the club were all excellent, from those scanning tickets and checking IDs to bartenders. They have a decent selection of cocktails and beer, and for a Boston rock club the prices were not bad at all. A good place to see a band close up. Source

Six String Grill and Stage Reviews:

  • Was looking for a place to go the night of my birthday and we ended up there. There was a band playing. It was very entertaining. Drinks were consistent and well made, place looks really cleaned. Bathroom for the ladies has a queen type of chair where you can take nice pictures😊. We had fun. Will definitely visit again.
  • My family and I came in last night to watch my granddaughter perform for the first time here. Our server Tiffany came over to the table and we told her we were family of the band and she offered us seats much closer to the stage so we wouldn’t have to relocate after we ate. How cool! It was like we were in VIP. She was ready to take our order and very helpful with some of my family’s allergies. The apps were amazing and quick coming out. Meal was great too. Our server kept up on drinks right up until the band had ended despite many people in our group just drinking water. Very accommodating atmosphere. We hope to come back soon.
  • Visited here for the first time the other night with a group of friends and saw Jimmy Allen and Stephanie Q perform. Such and a fun place and good vibe. Waitress was attentive and the food was good. The Nashville fried chicken sandwich was amazing. Can't wait to return! Source

The Cabot Reviews:

  • Traditional theater venue with a small intimate feel. The nonprofit organization is busy renovating in stages to preserve its original beauty but adding the modern elements to make the experience as best as possible. Staff and crew are welcoming and friendly.
  • What a great venue for movies and rock/blues. 100 years old restored to the grandeur of old. The lobby/refreshment area restored next.
  • This is one of my favorite venues on the North Shore. I've seen a few shows here and enjoyed each one. It's a very intimate theater so every seat in the house is a good seat. They have craft beer and wine and also everything a movie theater would have for snacks. The next thing I'll be seeing here is a movie, I can't wait! Source

10. Big Night Live - Boston, MA

Big Night Live Reviews:

  • Dope venue! One of my favorite big night locations. Was there about a month ago with a few friends, our bottle girl was Andrea. She provided a great experience, one of my favorite bottle girls yet. A sweetheart. Hope to have her again/see her at the other venues!
  • This is a sweeet venue! Drinks are reasonable prices (for Boston) and the bartenders are attentive and quick. Went to see 50 cent and the show itself was not really worth it as he showed up two and a half hours late and then sang four songs 😂 but that’s not the fault of the venue. You can get really close to the stage so it’s totally worth going if you know the artist will put on a good show (sorry 50)
  • love this place! went to see Loud Luxury this weekend and their set was amazing. This venue pulls in some big names that I am definitely planning on coming back to see with my friends. Overall, there's a big dance floor for GA tickets which is great. There's 3 different bars in the venue which we definitely took advantage of! Source

11. The Parlor Room - Northampton, MA

The Parlor Room is right in downtown Northampton. You can’t miss it; it looks like an old brick one-room schoolhouse, but, like a clown car, holds a lot more than it seems like it should. The record label offices are in the back, but the shows are out front (kind of like a reverse mullet! All business in the back, party out in the front).

Address: 32 Masonic St, Northampton, MA 01060, United States (Directions)
Phone: +1 413-341-3317

The Parlor Room Reviews:

  • Beautifully intimate venue for artists both near and far. The set up includes a few tables at the front of the room then rows of fold-up chairs which can mean sitting shoulder to shoulder. The venue is BYOB and allows you to bring food/snacks as well. Being that the venue is small, ticket prices are inexpensive whether purchased in advance or at the door so it’s worth checking out not only artists you love, but artists you may not have heard of. Great talent comes through these doors, it’s not likely to disappoint!
  • I like this venue a lot, it is small and cozy and BYOB/picnic. The seating is first come first serve so get there early if you're bringing food and want to get one of the small tables at the front. The seats are not very comfortable but the good music makes up for it!
  • Cute little venue to watch a live show! I went to see Kimaya Diggs during First Night, and the sound was very nice. The manager or owner, however, interrupted the show a bit to pass out buttons which was sort of distracting. You can tell he loves his job, though! Source
