Formed in Finland in 1989 by Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance, Beherit pioneered Finnish black metal with raw releases like The Oath of Black Blood and Drawing Down the Moon. Later transitioning to darkwave ambient music, the influential cult band quietly vanished in the late 1990s.
