Camané, born Carlos Manuel Moutinho Paiva dos Santos Duarte in Oeiras, Portugal, is a celebrated fado singer. Known as the "Prince of Fado," his soulful voice revitalizes traditional fado for contemporary audiences. He won the Grande Noite do Fado in 1979 and the Amália Rodrigues Prize in 2005. His discography includes "Horas Vazias" (2021) and "Homenagem a José Mário Branco - Ao Vivo No CCB" (2024), with popular songs like "Sei de um rio." He has collaborated with Mário Laginha and José Mário Branco.
