Gang Green is an American hardcore punk and crossover thrash band originally formed in Braintree, Massachusetts, in 1980 by guitarist and vocalist Chris Doherty, bassist Bill Manley, and drummer Mike Dean. Known as an influential fixture of the Boston hardcore scene, the group was celebrated for its raw, warp-speed thrash and unapologetic, party-centric lyrical themes revolving around skateboarding and alcohol. Despite undergoing numerous lineup changes and hiatuses, with Doherty remaining the sole constant member, the band expanded its sound to incorporate heavy metal influences, releasing definitive records such as their 1986 debut album Another Wasted Night and 1989's Older... Budweiser.
