Luca D'Alessio, known professionally as LDA, is an Italian singer-songwriter and rapper from Naples. The son of prominent Italian singer-songwriter Gigi D'Alessio, he rose to national prominence in 2021 as a contestant on the 21st season of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi, where he finished in fifth place in the singers category. Blending melodic pop, R&B, and contemporary rap, his music focuses on direct vocal delivery and emotionally driven songwriting, highlighted by successful projects such as his self-titled 2022 debut EP, the 2023 studio album Quello che fa bene, and a 2026 collaborative album with Aka 7even titled Poesie Clandestine.
