Formed in Germany in 1990 by guitarist Martin Christian, Paragon is a power metal band known for a forceful, intense yet melodic style influenced by Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Despite early lineup instability and label troubles following their 1995 debut World of Sin, the band released several albums with Remedy Records, including Steelbound and Law of the Blade.
