Italy-born, self-taught guitarist and composer Peppino D'Agostino debuted with 1981’s Bluerba. After immigrating to the U.S., he gained attention with 1993’s Close to the Heart, recorded a 1997 film soundtrack, and released genre-bending albums and collaborations.
