About Robyn Hitchcock

Robyn Hitchcock, born in Cambridge, England, is a celebrated singer/songwriter known for his eclectic style and surreal lyrics. Influenced by Syd Barrett and Bob Dylan, he started with the Soft Boys and went solo in 1981, releasing nearly an album annually. His unique blend of psychedelic and folk music features hits like "Brenda's Iron Sledge" and "Acid Bird." Hitchcock has collaborated with artists like Gillian Welch, Johnny Marr, and Nick Lowe, and is known for albums such as *Globe of Frogs* and *I Often Dream of Trains*. His memoir, *1967: How I Got There and Why I Never Left*, explores his early influences.
