Sugar Ray, formed in Newport Beach, CA, and fronted by Mark McGrath, soared in the late '90s with hits like "Fly," "Every Morning," and "Someday." Known for their sunny pop-rock sound, they achieved triple-platinum success with the album 14:59. The band collaborated with producer David Kahne and dancehall artist Super Cat. Their catchy tunes led them to fame on both the Billboard Top 40 and Adult Contemporary charts. Beyond music, McGrath became a TV personality, co-hosting Extra and appearing on various reality shows.
