Acoustic Alchemy, formed in London in 1981, blends jazz, classical, flamenco, and new age. Known for Grammy-nominated albums like Reference Point and AArt, the band initially featured guitarists Nick Webb and Greg Carmichael. After Webb's 1998 passing, Carmichael teamed with Miles Gilderdale, releasing hits like The Beautiful Game and Roseland, marking their 30th anniversary. The group's sophisticated sound and collaborations, including with Down to the Bone, have earned them a dedicated following and multiple Billboard Jazz chart successes.
