Alabama is a country band from Alabama that helped make country bands popular again with a sleek country-rock sound. After signing with RCA, they launched a streak of 21 No. 1 hits and tallied 27 No. 1 singles in the 1980s.

Ontario native country singer Jade Eagleson broke out with 2018 debut single Got Your Name On It (PLATINUM). His 2020 self-titled debut became the most globally streamed debut by an internationally signed country artist, earning four Canadian #1s.

The Ohio State Fair is an annual state fair held in Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds. Established in 1850, it is one of the largest state fairs in the United States, celebrating Ohio's products, people, and agricultural achievements. Initially a nomadic event that traveled to various cities across Ohio during its first 24 years, the fair permanently settled in Columbus in 1874 and moved to its current location in 1886. Today, the 12-day exposition features agricultural competitions, livestock exhibitions, a popular butter cow sculpture, a fine arts show, rides, and a concert series that attracts nearly one million visitors annually.
