GRAMMY-winning blues artist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram from Clarksdale, MS, is renowned for his electrifying guitar work and vocals. He's toured with Buddy Guy and Vampire Weekend and won 10 Blues Music Awards.
The North Mississippi Allstars, formed by Luther and Cody Dickinson, blend roots and rock influences from Mississippi. Their album "Up and Rolling," inspired by Wyatt McSpadden's photos, celebrates local musical legends like Otha Turner. Influenced by their father Jim Dickinson, they've crafted a unique sound.
Born in Canada, Sue Foley is renowned for her Texas blues style, wielding her pink Fender Telecaster, Pinky. Known for hits like "Dallas Man," Foley's collaborations include Lavelle White and Angela Strehli. Her album "PINKY'S BLUES" showcases her devotion to blues with classics like "Stop These Teardrops" and "Boogie Real Low."
Austin-based Ian Moore, known for blending blues-rock, Southern soul, and Beatlesque pop, toured with Joe Ely, opened for the Rolling Stones and ZZ Top, and released acclaimed albums like Modernday Folklore and Got the Green Grass. Noted for his live performances, he collaborates with his band, Action Company.
Lee Fields, praised by Rolling Stone for his classic American soul sound, has had a stellar five-decade career with 20+ albums and 40+ singles. Sampled by J. Cole and Travis Scott, he's now with Daptone Records, collaborating with Gabriel Roth. His latest album, "Sentimental Fool," showcases deep bluesy vocals with tracks like “Forever” and “What Did I Do,” backed by Daptone stars like Thomas Brenneck and Neal Sugarman.
