LineUp

Los Mirlos, formed in Lima in 1973 by members from Moyobamba, are pioneers of Amazonian Cumbia. They are celebrated globally for their Psychedelic Cumbia sound.
Born from the vibrant indie rock scene, Yo La Tengo, led by Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley, became iconic for their melodic noise-pop fusion. Influenced by acts like Velvet Underground and Sun Ra, they formed in 1984. Known for albums like "I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One" and "Painful," they've experimented across genres, featuring a mix of covers and originals. Collaborations span De La Soul to David Byrne. Their self-produced projects, including "This Stupid World," showcase their artistic independence, while critical acclaim has cemented their legacy in the alternative music scene.
Dinosaur Jr., formed in Amherst, MA, by J Mascis, are known for their loud, feedback-heavy guitar sound, influencing late-'80s indie rock. Key albums include "You're Living All Over Me" and "Green Mind." Notable singles like "Freak Scene" and covers like "Just Like Heaven" built their legacy. After lineup changes and a breakup, the original trio reunited in 2005, producing albums like "Farm" (2009) and "Sweep It Into Space" (2021) with Kurt Vile. Dinosaur Jr.'s impact on alternative rock is iconic, with members also pursuing successful solo projects.
The Mystery Lights formed in 2004 in Salinas, California. Known for their unhinged rock style, they drew inspiration from The MC5 and Velvet Underground. Relocating to Queens in 2014, they caught the attention of Daptone Records and released their debut single, "Too Many Girls," on Wick Records. Their second album, "Too Much Tension!" mixes punk, synth, and pop influences.
British alt-rock band bôa, formed in London in 1992, is known for their track "Duvet" from the anime Serial Experiments Lain. Their viral resurgence led to millions of streams.
Dean Wareham, born in Wellington, New Zealand, gained a cult following with Galaxie 500's lo-fi indie rock and later formed Luna, known for dreamy sounds inspired by Velvet Underground. Dean & Britta duo projects with Britta Phillips include acclaimed soundtrack contributions. Wareham's solo works, like 2021's "I Have Nothing to Say to the Mayor of L.A.," display his enduring indie rock influence.
Liverpool indie rock duo King Hannah, comprising Hannah Merrick and Craig Whittle, blend 70s richness with 90s noise. Known for "I'm Not Sorry, I Was Just Being Me," they've shared the stage with Kurt Vile and Thurston Moore. Their new album, "Big Swimmer," produced by Ali Chant, captures tour-inspired stories and future vision.
