He serves as Music Director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center. Heyward won the 2015 International Besançon Competition for Young Conductors and is recognized for making classical music accessible, championing new works, and leading diverse orchestras.

Verdi's Rigoletto

Verdi's Rigoletto, a tragic Italian opera, premiered in Venice in 1851. Based on Victor Hugo's play, it's a Romantic-era masterpiece known for its intense drama and powerful music.
